As a result, parts and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.engineeringnews.co.za\/topic\/services\">services<\/a> supplied by <a href=\"http:\/\/www.engineeringnews.co.za\/topic\/execujet\">ExecuJet<\/a> to its customers in <a href=\"http:\/\/www.engineeringnews.co.za\/topic\/nigeria\">Nigeria<\/a>\u2019s commercial capital will now be exempt from value added tax (VAT) and customs dues.<\/p>\n<p>The company further announced that these savings will be passed on to its customers. This should result in savings of 10% to 15% or even more on supply and MRO costs.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cObtaining the FTZ took approximately two years, during which time the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.engineeringnews.co.za\/topic\/execujet\">ExecuJet<\/a> team had to demonstrate how the FTZ would benefit <a href=\"http:\/\/www.engineeringnews.co.za\/topic\/lagos\">Lagos<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.engineeringnews.co.za\/topic\/nigeria\">Nigeria<\/a> as a whole,\u201d reported <a href=\"http:\/\/www.engineeringnews.co.za\/topic\/execujet\">ExecuJet<\/a> VP <a href=\"http:\/\/www.engineeringnews.co.za\/topic\/africa-company\">Africa<\/a> <a href=\"http:\/\/www.engineeringnews.co.za\/topic\/gavin-kiggen\"><strong>Gavin Kiggen<\/strong><\/a>. \u201cWe\u2019re very proud now to announce the approval of the FTZ in <a href=\"http:\/\/www.engineeringnews.co.za\/topic\/lagos\">Lagos<\/a>, and the successful negotiation of zero VAT and zero duties for <a href=\"http:\/\/www.engineeringnews.co.za\/topic\/execujet\">ExecuJet<\/a> customers.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>As part of the agreement, the company will be allowed to keep stocks of parts for the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.engineeringnews.co.za\/topic\/aircraft\">aircraft<\/a> manufacturers.
